Amalgamation Meet & Greet
While no final decision has been made, the Minister of Municipal Affairs has recommended amalgamation to Cabinet.
As Clearwater County and the Village of Caroline are anticipated to merge on January 1, 2025, we invite you to meet the Interim Council and Administrative team and learn how services will be provided after the amalgamation.

Amalgamation Report:
The Amalgamation Report is a proposal to the Minister of Municipal Affairs to amalgamate the municipalities of Clearwater County and the Village of Caroline. It represents the results of seven months of negotiations, which concluded May 24, 2024.
